The Austin Chapter of Credit Unions completed another successful fund raising year for the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. This year, we raised an incredible $150,000.00! We would like to express our heart felt gratitude for all the support from the Austin area Credit Unions. Each individual Credit Union and their members raised awareness and funds for the children of Central Texas.

This year the winners were announced on May 31st at the KVET Radiothon which was held in the lobby of the current Children’s Hospital where doctors, patients, nurses, and family members were able to express their appreciation over the radio. We invited all the Credit Union Coordinators to be present for the drawing. With a playpen full of CMN tickets, a representative from Nyle Maxwell Pontiac GMC dug deep for the winning tickets. At 4:30p.m., Pamela Cotton announced the winner of the prizes.

Each year we are getting closer and closer to our ultimate goal of $2.5 million. With this year pushing us over the halfway mark, we will present a check to the Hospital on June 21st at our Celebration Dinner along with awards for the top selling Credit Unions, top selling employees and recognition plaques for our sponsors.
