Please join the Austin Chapter of Credit Unions Thursday, November 20th for two FREE training sessions at the Norris Conference Center! You read it correctly- FREE! Jody Patterson and Becky LeBlanc from University Federal Credit Union will present two great training opportunities covering the following topics: Self Mastery-The Integrity Model & Effective Communication. The first session will be from 8:30am – 11:30am discussing Self-Mastery: The Integrity Model. This class will cover topics such as:

  • The process of emotional intelligence (self-mastery)
  • The flaw inherent in the common symbols of success
  • A new definition of success based upon your personal paradigm (mental filter)
  • The power of your personal paradigm
  • Four different paradigms from which people live
  • The core beliefs of each paradigm

The second session will follow our Chapter lunch meeting. It will be held from 1:30pm – 4:30pm discussing Effective Communication. This class will cover topics such as:
  • The definition, process, and purpose of communication
  • The five levels of communication, and the importance of understanding your audience
  • Five keys to becoming an effective communicator
  • The three parts of nonverbal communication
  • Active listening skills and techniques
  • How to write a Personalized Communication Action Plan
