ACCU Boat Cruise

The Austin Chapter of Credit Unions invites you to our annual Boat Cruise Networking Event, where you can connect with fellow credit union professionals while enjoying the stunning views of the lake. This event is replacing our annual bowling fundraiser, with the funds being donated to the Cornerstone Foundation. This event is the perfect opportunity to build relationships, share ideas, and learn from one another in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Come aboard and enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great company as we cruise around the lake. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to network and unwind with your credit union colleagues!

 

This event is being held on Wednesday, April 23rd. Boarding starts at 5:30 PM and the cruise departs at 6:00 PM.

Come join us for an exciting event to get an update on America’s Credit Unions’ advocacy priorities, a federal legislative/regulatory update, and learn about “Advocacy 101”.

Eric Sneddon - Executive Assistant & Advocacy Operations Lead for America’s Credit Unions

Eric Sneddon serves as the Advocacy Operations Lead and Executive Assistant to the Chief Advocacy Officer at America’s Credit Unions. Since joining the credit union movement in 2022, he has helped coordinate the organization’s federal legislative, regulatory, political, and grassroots advocacy efforts, ensuring that credit unions have a strong and unified voice in Washington.

Eric previously worked in the U.S. House of Representatives as Director of Scheduling & Operations for Congresswoman Julia Brownley and has additional experience in multiclient lobbying and political campaigns. His background gives him a unique perspective on how federal decisions are made – and how credit union professionals at every level can play an important role in shaping them.

Originally from Southern California, Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCLA.
